Visiting the Two Habibis Behind Carpet Company

In today’s saturated market of board brands, standing out is a significant challenge. It often feels like you need big-name riders, extensive stockists, wide distribution networks, and a constant stream of new products just to make a small impact. However, Ayman and Osama Abdeldayem, the brothers behind Carpet Company, are generating considerable buzz through their dedication to craftsmanship and unique approach.

The two Egyptian brothers started their brand in their Baltimore, Maryland basements, emphasizing meticulous craftsmanship and an intense attention to detail. This includes hand-numbered boards, laser-etched logos, hand-screened graphics, and custom sewing, all of which make each Carpet Co. item entirely unique. When you purchase a tee or a board, you are guaranteed a one-of-a-kind piece. Their commitment to quality and detail has not gone unnoticed.

Their distinctive approach has drawn the attention of skate shops across the United States and around the world. This has allowed the brothers to build their brand’s reputation and sales to the point where they have now acquired their own space just outside downtown Baltimore. This new facility will serve as their screen printing workshop, shipping and receiving center, and pop-up shop, which they plan to open twice a year to coincide with product releases.

Since we couldn’t get away from the office to visit in person, a friend of Ayman and Osama stopped by to capture some footage of the two brothers in their new workspace. The video also explores how they started the brand and what they envision for the future.

Don’t miss the chance to check out their web store and grab a tee before the hypebeasts discover them. Carpet Company is more than just a brand; it’s a testament to the power of dedication and unique vision in the skateboarding world. Their handcrafted approach sets them apart in a market often dominated by mass production, offering a fresh perspective and authentic feel.
