What You’ll Be Doing
As a part-time Content Editor, you will be integral to the daily operations of LongBoards Guide. Your responsibilities will include:
- Scheduling Posts: Keeping our content calendar organized and ensuring a steady stream of engaging articles.
- Collaborating with Contributors: Working closely with our talented writers and contributors to refine their content and bring out the best in their work.
- Weekly Content Preparation: Assisting in the planning and preparation of our weekly content lineup, including articles, reviews, and videos.
- Writing: Contributing your own articles and pieces to our website, showcasing your knowledge and love for longboarding.
- Social Media Management: Helping to manage our social media presence, engaging with our audience and promoting our content.
- CMS Management: Working with our content management system to ensure that our website remains user-friendly and up-to-date.
- Being a Team Player: Bringing a positive attitude and a collaborative spirit to our team.

Essential Requirements
Before you send in your application, please make sure you meet the following criteria:
- Geographic Location: You must be based in the New York City area to facilitate potential in-person meetings and collaborations.
- Editorial Experience: Proven experience in editorial work, with the ability to create and curate compelling written content.
- Strong Writing Skills: Excellent writing skills are a must; you need to be able to convey your thoughts clearly and engagingly.
- Longboard Knowledge: A solid understanding of the longboarding scene, including its culture, equipment, and various riding styles, is required.
- Sanity: A sense of humor and a generally relaxed, but not insane, personality is essential for fitting into our team.
