During a brainstorming session, a marketing representative jokingly mentioned that Carroll was renowned for two things: skateboarding and raving. Given that skating was temporarily off the table, they decided to have him curate a playlist. The idea resonated since the shoe itself is a kind of remix, a blend of old and new.
