The typical “Day In The Life” segments often feel too staged, with every moment carefully planned out. Instead of following that predictable formula, we decided to do the opposite. We wanted to spend a few hours with Aaron Herrington, capturing whatever he felt like doing that day – whether it was grabbing coffee, listening to music, or simply carrying his groceries. Our goal was to show a real, unfiltered glimpse into his life.
This led us to Aaron’s Bed Stuy apartment where he made breakfast, and then on a spontaneous trip to Chinatown to get his aura read. Finally, we ended up enjoying some delicious dosas from the famous food cart in Washington Square Park. Here’s a short look at our day hanging out with Aaron.

Breakfast in Bed-Stuy
The morning started in Aaron’s apartment in Bed-Stuy, where he prepared breakfast. It was a casual start to the day, reflecting the laid-back nature of our hang out. Instead of the usual skate footage, we got a glimpse into the simple routines of Aaron’s daily life. This made our day unique and different from the usual skateboarder profile. We wanted to highlight Aaron’s personality beyond his skills on a board.

Aura Reading in Chinatown
After breakfast, Aaron had the idea to get his aura read in Chinatown. This wasn’t something we had planned, but that was the point of the day. We wanted to follow Aaron’s lead and see where it took us. The experience was a fun and quirky detour, offering a peek into a more unconventional side of Aaron’s interests. This stop added an element of surprise and intrigue to our day together. It’s not every day you see a professional skateboarder explore the world of auras. The spontaneity was a refreshing change of pace.
Dosa Delights in Washington Square Park
Our final stop of the day was at the famous dosa food cart in Washington Square Park. We enjoyed some delicious dosas, a popular South Indian dish. This was a great way to end our day, experiencing one of New York City’s many food gems. The vibrant atmosphere of the park and the tasty food created a perfect ending to our unplanned adventure with Aaron. It was a relaxed and enjoyable way to reflect on the day’s spontaneous journey.
Final Thoughts
Our day with Aaron was far from the usual “Day In The Life” segment. It was a genuine experience, full of unplanned moments and casual encounters. From making breakfast to getting his aura read and eating dosas, we got a real glimpse into the world of Aaron Herrington. It was a reminder that sometimes, the best stories are the ones that unfold naturally. We hope you enjoyed this unfiltered look into the life of a unique individual.
