The Genesis crew, hailing from Seattle, has steadily become a part of the Jenkem family over the last few years. This connection began with the premiere of a segment from Genesis 2, featuring the talents of Troy Gipson and Bao Nguyen. Since then, the collaboration has expanded to include Elise Hedge as a podcast host for “Okay, Last Try,” Cass Bermudez as a commentator on “Shop Talk at Blue Park,” and even Ian Ostrowski, the filmer and head of the crew, as a participant on “Date A Sk8er.” It’s clear that this group is composed of some genuinely great people.
Considering this, we reached out to Ian to see if he’d be interested in filming a recurring segment for our site while he’s in the process of filming and finalizing Genesis 3, which is set to be released very soon. This has led to the creation of our new series, “G-Files.”
This series offers a glimpse into the world of Genesis, documenting their travels across the country, their shared laughter, and the impressive footage they capture. Stay tuned for future episodes, and let us know which guest skater should join their van for the next adventure.
The inaugural episode of G-Files features:
- Dylan Clark
- Caden Smith
- Cass Bermudez
- Jasper Levine
- Darrian Williams
- TJ Robinson
- KJ Phanissay
- Cole Hartman
- Carl Depaolo
- Nacho Ponce
- Alex Lobasyuk
