Last summer, before masks became commonplace, filmmaker Alex Raspa envisioned a motorcycle journey through the scenic landscapes of southern France and northern Spain. The plan was to explore the region with a group of European longboarders and friends sponsored by Levi’s. Despite having no prior motorcycle experience, Raspa’s ambition was unwavering.
Levi’s surprisingly backed the concept, and Raspa embarked on a two-week adventure of camping, biking, and skating with the crew. The result was “Eazy Lover,” a seven-minute video capturing their escapades. The title, a nod to the Phil Collins song of the same name, also references a phrase that became a shared experience among some of the group, who even got matching tattoos during a memorable night.
This video is released during a time when travel restrictions limit American access to Europe. Consider it a nostalgic look at a time we once had, a yearning for what’s been lost, or perhaps something more profound.
