Rojas Trucks – A Unique Geometry

Rojas trucks have a unique design featuring a single large bushing instead of two. This eliminates slop and provides a very turny truck with a strong center. The lean and turn is endless due to the single bushing. However, some riders find it hard to find a point to kick the wheels out into a slide.

Valkyrie Truck Co – A Fresh Take on RKP

Valkyrie trucks use a co-planar design with two kingpins, which eliminates slop and changes how the bushings interact with the rider. These trucks are very forgiving and still very much RKP trucks. They are one of the most forgiving options to go with when you want a slop stopping system that is not a urethane insert. This gives them a ton of lean and solid center. However, some riders say there is too much lean and thick boardside bushings are used to try and control it.

Valkyrie trucks are known for their unique co-planar design with dual kingpins.

Voxter Mk3 DH Trucks

The Voxter Mk3 trucks are great for both freeride and downhill and seem to be a good choice for mashing the lines between hands down and hands up riding. They provide a smooth transition into slipping/sliding and are stable and easy to control, but they are not very lively at slower speeds.

Exile’s Precision Trucks

Exile Precision Trucks

These trucks were originally designed for LDP (long-distance pumping), using a spherical bearing. They can also be configured for downhill using an insert bushing, or a mix of a spherical bearing in front and bushing in back. Most riders run a high angle 55* truck up front and a 0* bracket in the back for LDP. For downhill, riders use either 55* and 45* baseplates in the front, and 20* baseplates in the back. Exile is working on a second version of the truck, which will use tall bushings.
